Fancy working for a multinational technology consultancy with excellent track record delivering transformation for their clients.

You will be based on site working with their end client in Swindon as an Atlassian Specialist working on one of their key projects.

Role

We are looking for an individual who has a deep understanding of Jira and Confluence administration and how this can be safely applied in a complex environment that covers development, product support and user-centric design.

This is an agile project development environment, so you will be expected to work closely with users to understand their needs and provide a solution that meets the needs they have described, all at pace.

The Project is developing its Atlassian installations for a digital programme and is looking for an experienced Jira Confluence expert to lead, design and perform the migration, in addition to providing ongoing business-driven enhancement and administration of Jira and Confluence.

Key areas of enhancement are:

* New, bespoke Confluence & Jira projects to support the business needs of the team.

* Performance tuning We are looking for an individual who has a deep understanding of Jira and Confluence administration and how this can be safely applied in a complex environment that covers development, product support and user-centric design.

* This is an agile project development environment, so you will be expected to work closely with users to understand their needs and provide a solution that meets the needs they have described, all at pace.

Skills

Expert-level knowledge and deep experience in:

* Jira and Confluence

* Plugins (including writing groovy for script runner)

* Creating new resilient Atlassian installations in AWS with good recovery solutions

* Safely migrating Jira and Confluence projects/spaces and users to a new installation

* Co-designing effective Jira workflows/schemes with delivery leaders

* Designing and running an administration function fit for regular requests for new users, new spaces, customised Jira workflows/schemes for projects etc,

* Reviewing and improving security groups and roles to improve ease of management

* Ensuring effective communication between stakeholders for the design and transition to the single installation
