Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud) - Woking - Contract

Start Date: March 2019

Day Rate: £325-£400 per day dependant on experience

Location: Woking

Contract Duration: Initial 3 Month Assignment

Computer Futures are seeking an experience Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud) to join a key client of ours in Woking for an initial 3 month contract assignment.

The Responsibilities:

You will be an experienced Infrastructure engineer, expected to be involved in strategy, design and planning, the delivery and implementation, and the supporting and optimisation of these infrastructure services, while driving the innovation and adoption of infrastructure solutions and cloud services.

You will also mentor and act as a centre of excellence to Infrastructure analysts and assist them in resolving end user hardware and software problems, providing outstanding customer service and a customer focused approach to outcomes.

Skills and Experience:

* Experienced in delivering and supporting complex Virtual, Physical and Cloud Server Environments.

* Experienced in providing third line support across the range of Microsoft and related infrastructure services.

* Experienced in design, configuration and management across a broad range of Microsoft and related infrastructure services including server, clustering, desktop, unified communications, identity and access management, software distribution, monitoring, Cloud (Azure & AWS) and Office 365

* Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills to investigate, diagnose, and rectify issues relating to Infrastructure Services (including using the Microsoft toolset)

* Ability to work with different infrastructure and application platforms, and delivery mechanisms, including Cloud, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and hybrid, and understand the pros and cons of each.
