I am urgently seeking an Application Packager for a 6 month contract (view to extend) in Scotland

The Application Consultant is responsible for the quality packaging of applications in line with customer requirements. Responsible for ensuring packaging processes and standards are followed and the throughout of work is maintained. The role will also entail troubleshooting applications on and off site and leading a team of packagers working closely with the Service and Delivery managers.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

* Career background to include MSI application packaging for at least 3 years with experience in providing problem solving and MSI consulting.

* Solid knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems.

* MCSE in 2000 or XP or equivalent qualification is desirable.

* Can demonstrate knowledge of MSI, Wise, InstallShield, Orca and WinInstall packaging technologies.

* Experience of software implementations into medium and large enterprise businesses.

* Knowledge of industry best practices for MSI.

* Can provide quality technical and reporting documentation.

* Able to determine key aspects of packaging standards.

* Operated in 'blue chip' company or quality services partner.
