Application Packager / SCCM Analyst - Crawley - c45k + Benefits Global Corporation seeks an SCCM Packaging Analyst / Application Packager to assist with application discovery, testing, packaging and deployment of applications to a Windows 7 Desktop environment via SCCM.

Working within a complex, global Wintel infrastructure environment you will work within a team of SCCM Packaging Analysts to package and deploy a large number of applications ranging in size, nature and complexity to multiple office locations across EMEA.

Application discovery, pre-packaging testing and documentation will need to be completed prior to the deployment to ensure minimal downtime for the enterprise user base.

Creation of .msi files will be undertaken using Flexera Installshield AdminStudio and deployment of applications with SCCM 2012.

You will also be required to play a key role in the ongoing development of the SCCM Gold Build and will have previous experience of delivering Gold Builds for SCCM 2012. SCCM Reporting will also form part of this role.

We are searching for an SCCM Packaging Analyst / Application Packager / Wintel Engineer who possesses experience of packaging applications and deploying to Windows 7 desktop environments using SCCM and creation of .msi files with Flexera InstallShield AdminnStudio.

You will be confident working within a complex Wintel Infrastructure environment comprising Widows Server 2008 R2 Active Directory/Group Policy operating in production and supporting a global environment.

You will be used to working with SCCM in test lab environments and confident in your ability to package and deploy apps into production across multiple EMEA locations (using SCCM with AdminStudio) and be aware of the problems that you may encounter and be able to work with Distribution Points.

You will be comfortable creating Gold Builds, amending them as required and also have gained some exposure to App-V sequencing. Additionally you will be able to adapt quickly to the processes and procedures which exist within the team and respond quickly to change requests and additional packages which come online as the project moves forward.

Any experience gained with SCCM reporting would be a distinct advantage. Finally, you will be a well organised individual with strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

Your experience will have been gained in multi-national corporate environments where security and compliance factors have been given consideration. Location is easily commutable from Brighton, East Sussex or Croydon, Surrey. Also from South West London (45 minutes from Victoria or London Bridge)
