Role: NetApp Storage Engineer
Duration: 3 Months
Location: Northampton
We are looking for an experienced NetApp Storage Engineer to join our ever-growing team.
The ideal candidate will have a good mix of the below skills, including Netapp!
Skills Required:
* Experience/certification on ONTAP 9.1 (cluster mode NetApp storage)
* Configuration and managing MDS Switch(MDS 9148S)
* SAN management ( LUN creation , mapping and handling Zoning)
* Hands on experience on SVM and LIFs configuration and managing.
* Volume resize, aggregate disk add and lun resizing
* Snapshots scheduling
* Dealing with CIFS and NFS sizing and export permissions
* Configuring and troubleshooting SnapMirror and Snapvault.
* Hands on ONTAP firmware upgrade and Switch firmware upgrade.
* Hands on NetApp On Command Manager
* Hands on quota and qtree management
* Knowledge on Power shell Scripting is preferable
* LUN management (LUN creation, LUN snapshots, LUN restore)
* NFS, CIFS, and SAN (FC and ISCSI) management
* Snapshot, lunclone, flexclone management
* Volume resize, aggregate disk add and lun resize
* Dealing with CIFS and NFS export permissions
* Configuring and troubleshooting SnapMirror Environment.
* Storage remediation like HBA driver and firmware upgrade.
* NetApp On Command Manager, Performance Manager
* flex clone volumes, quota and qtree management
* Scripting
* Orphan Storage
* Configuring windows ISCSI Boot LUN
* IBM Storwize V7000:
* IBM Storwize V7000 administration
* IBM Real-time Compression, RACE
* IBM Storwize easy tier
* IBM SVC
* SUN Storage:
* DAS managemnt
* MPxIO configuration
