Our West Yorkshire based client are looking for a Support Consultant to provide end-user support for their bespoke financial application.

In this role you will be responsible for the provision of effective and professional customer support via phone and remote connection to customer systems.

Key responsibilities:

* Investigate and document application problems passed on to the application support team and provide solutions or fixes.

* Ensure customers are kept updated through written and verbal communication.

* Manage escalations, take ownership of complicated issues and have the ability to take over a case at any stage of investigation.

* Highlight potential escalation risks and organise additional requirements to aid the investigations.

The perfect candidate will be a self-motivated, enthusiastic team player with excellent analytical skills with the ability to approach problems logically.

Experience:

* Experience working in a customer service environment.

* Experience of Microsoft Office.

* A high standard of communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable:

* Knowledge/experience working within the financial sector.

* Basic technical knowledge.

* Language skills in either French, German or Dutch.
