Our plan to transform our digital approach
Over the next two years Healthwatch England will be undertaking an exciting programme of work to remodel the systems we use nationally and across our local network of 152 Healthwatch. There has never been a better time to join us and really make a difference to the way that we deliver an efficient and effective Healthwatch service to people across the country.
We need your experience of identifying digital business requirements, understanding user need, scoping and identifying value for money digital solutions and planning for change to help prepare the foundation for our future vision.
As we take our first steps, we are looking for an engaging, perceptive and excellent communicator who can apply their technical expertise in innovative and creative ways.
About the role
We're looking for someone who will work with the Digital Product Manager to increase our understanding about what our network of 152 organisations will require to meet future needs, working with a wide variety of end users to form a deep understanding of their needs and develop new ways of working.
As part of this opportunity you'll:
Undertake a range of user research activities to compile a comprehensive understanding of Healthwatch digital requirements.
Engage effectively with the Healthwatch network of 152 independent organisations.
Contribute to the design and development of the Healthwatch digital estate.
What you'll bring to the role:
Experience and understanding of a range of user research methods, when to use those methods and how to apply them correctly.
The ability to understand what problem the organisation is trying to solve, and align user research activities to inform decision making and action.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
This is a 6 months fixed term contract.
