Are you a 'hands on' tester and looking to step up into a management role where you will gain key stakeholder, strategy and planning experience whilst still remaining 'hands on'?

Here is the ideally opportunity for a passionate 'hands on' tester who is looking to gain the key skills needed to progress into management whilst retaining and learning new technical skills?

This well-established multinational business is dominating their market and hold majority market share for a specialist engineering service across all sectors! Still focused on expanding, and doing so through acquisition, they pride themselves on retaining the small company (Family feel) culture within each environment and in turn is renowned across the world as a fantastic employer.

Reporting to the Head of IT Projects, you will ensure all system enhancements, upgrades and implementations are fully tested and comply with user functional expectations and corporate standards prior to release (ERP, SAP, NAV, AX and more). Focused initially on Microsoft Dynamics AX, you will take full hands on test responsibility as well as input to test strategy, test plans and data requirements, actual testing, adoption of test automation tools across major international sites (Some travel require -1 week at a time, twice a year max).

This is the ideal role for someone looking for end to end project work within a large but close knit business that will give you the tools in becoming a test manager.

The role;

* Test Manager (Hands on)

*Not a people management role

*Global leading business

*75% hands on test / 25% strategy input, process improvement, stakeholder management

*Initially Microsoft Dynamics AX project but moving onto other systems (ERP, SAP, NAV, AX etc.)

*End to end project work

*Occasionally International travel (1 week at a time, twice a year max).

The Person;

* ERP test experience is a must (Ideally NAV or AX or SAP)

* Hands on test background

*Looking to take on more senior responsibility (strategy, planning, stakeholder management)
