SC Service Desk Engineer (GDPR/Security Practices) - Bracknell - Initial 6 months
An SC Service Desk Engineer (GDPR/ Security Practices) is required to join a multinational information technology client working on a project for a public sector end client based in Bracknell on a 6-month contract.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience of resolving routine technical IT issues for a variety of systems, technologies, products, and product sets for end users.
* The ability to work in a fast paced environment.
* You will have worked on customer implementation projects.
Key Skills:
You should possess the following skills:
* A good understanding of technical defence documents and the ability to write technical reports.
* Knowledge of Government Standards such as GDPR/GSC
* Strong analytical, negotiation and influencing skills
* Technical report writing skills
* Auditing
Responsibilities:
As part of your duties, you will:
* Support end users of products/systems such as Microsoft products, operating systems, networks, applications, PCS).
* Facilitate service delivery within a customer environment.
* You will resolve and document routine customer queries and escalate issues where necessary to meet SLAs.
* Conduct statistical reporting and analysis to track performance.
* Continuously work to build your technical knowledge by learning about new products.
Suitable candidates should ideally hold active SC clearance or be willing and eligible to undergo clearance checks.
