IDAM Technical Specialist - Managed Desktop Services (MDS)

The client is seeking a technical person who has journeyed through the technical arena.

Senior Level Technical Support and Technical Consultancy for evaluation, installation, acquisition and use of IDAM incorporating SIAM.

Planning and scheduling configuration and implementation projects with Microsoft, Wintel, CSSM, Software Packaging and related desktop technologies.

Messaging, MS Exchange 2013 / 2016, Office 365, Active Directory, 2012 / 2016, ADFS, LDAP, Microsoft Identity Manager, 2FA, Network Access Management Tools, Azure Group Policy, Implementation and Configuration. ITIL / SIAM Service Management. Verisign VIP, RSA, Oracle Access Manager, Privileged Account Management Tools.

The client is an established Global IT Services organisation with a significant history who are seeking a professional, ethical and confident Technical Specialist to enhance their Managed Desktop Services (MDS) Team.

You will be based out of their offices in Solihull you will be responsible for Senior Level Technical Support, Technical Consultancy for Service Requests, Evaluation, Installation, Acquisition and use of IDAM including planning and scheduling engineering, configuration and implementation for Standard Service with Microsoft, Wintel, CSSM, Software Packaging and related desktop technologies.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to take that step and to see a clearer path in design and architecture working with the latest technology stack.

Supporting and assisting a Team who currently support a 4000-user base and with expectations set at supporting a 12,000-user base within the next 24 months, prerequisites are a calm and methodical approach to your work, a strong and professional service ethic with a natural willingness to impact your MDS Team, peers, colleagues, customers and stakeholders.

KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS YOU WILL REQUIRE:

* Engineering, Configuration & Implementation Projects

* Messaging, MS Exchange 2013 and 2016 Office 365

* Active Directory 2012 and 2016, ADFS

* Azure Cloud Exposure & Experience

* Group Policy Management and configuration

* Software Packaging

* Centralised Application Deployment

KEY SKILLS YOU WILL HAVE:

* Solid knowledge of Service Installation Requests

* Incident & problem Resolution

* Excellent team working skills and relationship skills with users and colleagues

* Self-motivated with a positive, challenge orientated attitude.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* The ability to communicate effectively at all levels of a business

* A high level of education - BSc Computer Science etc

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

* MCSE, ITIL / SIAM Service Management
