As Assistant Delivery Manager, you'll help to lead a multidisciplinary team as it shapes elements of the Scheme. In particular, you'll work closely with an experienced Delivery Manager, helping to identify obstacles and find solutions that keep the project on track, while championing how Agile and Lean tools and techniques elevate everyone's impact. We'll expect you to develop a keen sense for the big picture, and a real appreciation for technical details. And there'll be lots of opportunity to evolve the team's approach alongside policy, delivery and digital colleagues, and external experts - as you develop a Scheme centered around users' needs.It's something that calls for a good understanding of the latest Agile and Lean processes. You'll be a driving force behind feedback and continuous improvement too - keeping everyone up-to-date with their responsibilities and targets. And more broadly, you'll instil a real sense of empowerment and positivity to the project. It would help to have experience of working across organisational, technical and political boundaries. But more important is your skill at planning, forecasting and estimating, and helping to develop roadmaps that mitigate risks.
