You'll be part of a team responsible for engineering solutions which range from bespoke developments to large solutions within long term programmes, delivering world-leading, innovate solutions to the world's leading organisations and Government customers.What you'll be doing
As a member of the System Engineering team you will have the opportunity to work in all areas of the system development lifecycle, from the early stages of conception and proof of concept, through architecture design and development and into delivery and maintenance.
You will be required to work within a clear framework of accountability often working under your own direction with autonomy. There will be opportunities for you to influence other members of the team, customers and internal stakeholders as well as representing the company in external activities.

Key Skills
Hands-on work with system integration, product design, requirements gathering, traceability and testing. Customer communication and engagement essential.We are looking for candidates with a broad skill set, with exposure in some of the following capabilities:
Cryptography, Vulnerability research / Penetration testing, Scripting/Utility languages (Python/JS/PowerShell), High-assurance development practices: Testing / Assurance / Automation / Scripting, Reverse engineeringKnowledge of requirements elicitation, design, development and test phases, their processes, strategies, artefacts and quality control measures neededSkills in core current technologies, such as operating systems and their associated management and configuration, collaboration tools (such as Atlassian suite), Scripting and/or Programming Languages, Networking Fundamentals, Virtualisation, Continuous Integration Tools, Test Tools, DatabasesKnowledge of security principles, data protection, privacy, legal and policy constraints, and understanding of how these are applied throughout the engineering lifecycle.Knowledge and skills and selecting and designing Big Data solutions which match customer requirements.Knowledge and skills in implementing robust change control processes and integrating toolsets to ensure version control, code quality checking, continuous integration and controlled deploymentsKnowledge of physical deployment options, ranging from physical hardware, virtualisation, containerisation and Cloud offerings, and selecting the most suitable offering.Knowledge of development and delivery methodologies and selecting and applying these to fit the customer's needs.The Company
