What to expect:

Our global client are boosting investment in the Security Operations Centre and you will be at the heart of the growth by leading our client's security team. As the Cyber Security Operations Manager you will be responsible for leading the Cyber Security Operation function to manage security risks according to the risk appetite. You will lead and define the Cyber SOC strategy, future vision and execution plan based on the business demand, by planning, directing and controling the SOC functions and operations.

The position will also involve strong external stakeholder management skills, as you will be coordinating and cooperating with externally sourced security service providers. You will be directing security event monitoring, management and response cyber threat. This position will also involve ensuring effective incident identification, assessment, quantification, reporting, communication, mitigation and monitoring.

The successful candidate will report into the Chief Information Security Officer, working closely with the Cyber Security Program Manager and the Head of ICS GRC and leading a team of Security Analyst's.

What you'll need

We are looking for a degree educated leader with a security background and strong experience of management of cyber information security incidents, risk and vulnerabilities and proven experience in security incident handling, vulnerability management and threat hunting. Previous experience with security platforms including IAM, DLP, SIEM, WAF, EEP, EDR, DAM will be essential to the position.

We are keen to speak to people with Qualifications in CISSP / CISM or other Security qualifications and those with hands on experience in both managing and creating a SOC in previous positions.

It's also desirable for you to have knowledge and experience in Information Security Auditing Techniques as well as a track record of improving both internal and external processes by implementing procedures such as key performance indicators for the in-house and third party teams.
