Technical Consultant

One of our top Telecommunications clients is seeking a Technical Consultant to join their team. You will be responsible for providing technical support to clients, ensuring their networks operate efficiently and reliably. This is a home-based role with travel to client sites across the UK when required, and also covers a one in eight on call rota.

As the Technical Consultant your duties will include, but not limited to:

*Implementation of complex solutions

*Ensure where necessary issues are escalated to product manufacturers within a timely manner

*Provide 3rd line support to diagnose and resolve client network issues

*Ensuring that requests for technical support, troubleshooting and fault diagnosis are serviced within agreed SLA's

*Provide 2nd and 3rd line support as part of a one in eight on call rota

*Act as the technical accept specialist on a number of key client accounts

*Provide a technical handover to NOC staff, ensuring a smooth transition from projects to service

The Technical Consultant will be required to possess:

*Experience with multiple vendor equipment

*Five years experience providing consultancy/3rd line support

*Experience supporting Juniper/Extreme/ Palo Alto and Aruba Networks

*Hold current Juniper certifications - JNCIA-Junos / JNCIS-ENT / JNCIS-SEC

*It would be advantageous, but not essential for candidates to hold valid certifications for: Palo Alto CNSE / Aruba ACMP/ACMX / Extreme Networks ENS / CCNP
