Digital Supply Chain Lead (Machine Learning) - Initial 6-week contract - London / Wirral

A Digital Supply Chain Lead (Machine Learning) is required to join a global Fast-moving Consumer Goods Manufacturer based in London / Wirral. The duration of this role is initially a 6-week contract.

The Role

You will be responsible for leading the concept development, design and project managing the building of the client's Supply Chain Real Time Visibility Platform.

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of Supply Chain and Operational research techniques, and the deployment of prescriptive analytics deployed on cloud, such as Microsoft Azure.

Skills and Experience

You should have:

* Extensive hands-on experience of supply chain

* A solid understanding of advanced analytics techniques (e.g. machine learning and simulation)

* Good communication and stakeholder management skills

* An ability to translate technical terms into non-technical language and articulate the customer's business needs.

* A good understanding of data driven decision making

* Experience of working in a matrix organisation set up.

Key Responsibilities:

* You will be responsible for leading and supporting concept ideas for the global digital supply chain teams.

* Your role will include project managing the MVP build and promoting its output to senior stakeholders

* You will lead the agile solution design process and collaborate with key business areas.
