Help Desk Support Engineer / ST line/ First line / Support / Active Directory / Windows / Office 365 / Contract - Swanson - £100- £120 per day

Responsibilities:
* Responds to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, and electronically
* Diagnoses and resolves technical hardware and software issues
* Escalates unresolved problem/issues/requests to the proper tier 2 and 3 support team.
* Troubleshoots IT related problems of application software, PC's, laptops, and printers
* Strong knowledge of Windows PX, Windows 7, Windows 8
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Experience with wireless network support, VP, remote support
* Use of incident tracking and problem reporting tool
* Experience in hardware/software upgrades and troubleshooting
* Basic knowledge of Active Directory administration
* Ability to learn and support new applications
* Ability to install and configure new hardware including drivers, software, and peripherals
