Data Analytics Researcher - PHD / MSC - London - Permanent - £39k - £44k Per Annum.

The Company

A higher education institution based in London is seeking a Data Analytics Research Fellow, to join a very exciting project, working within the area of Insurance Fraud.

The Role

This position will focus on data analytics as related to machine learning and temporal data.

Responsibilities

*Define measurable, clear and concise metrics for how an existing rule-based approach and the proposed deep neural network approach to behavioural analysis can be compared and optimised.

*Collect partition and label the datasets employed and processed by the behavioural analysis algorithms.

*Evaluate data-mining methodologies and techniques suitable for analysing the rule-based approach.

*Use data-mining algorithms to analyse the relative importance of individual acoustic and linguistic markers with a view to optimising the rule-based approach.

*Evaluate the benefits of a multi-modal approach, combining the rule-based and deep neural network approaches for behavioural analysis.

Experience Required

*Ideally, you will have a PhD or be in your final year however my client will consider someone with a Masters. Your PhD should be in Computer Science or in a related field.

*You will have some programming skills, in either Python, C#, C, C++ or Matlab.

*Strong computer literacy

*Significant experience in data analytics as well as some experience in machine learning
