Senior Data Analyst - Bicester - Power BI - £50k!
The Role:
This position is a brand new role which would be based within the company head office near to Bicester. Although you will be working independently you will be supported by directors and other head office colleagues. Your primary responsibility will be to provide analysis and modelling to support business planning and decision making as well as providing real time insight into business performance.
In providing information and insight you will be supporting the CEO, CFO, Marketing, Operations and Business Development Directors. As you will be part of a reasonably small head office team you should be attracted to the varied day-to-day responsibilities and exposure which you will experience.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Using technology such as Power BI as an analytics platform to establish live self-service business performance reporting by displaying live KPI dashboards.
Developing appropriate BI solutions and identifying or creating datasets to measure business processes and goals.
Identifying gaps in the data or errors and improve data quality across the company.
Using your expert knowledge to develop new IT applications and ensure that they will provide the necessary information.
Supporting business growth by creating ad-hoc Excel models.
Contributing to the development of the company's use of IT.
You:
To be a good fit for this role you should have the following skills:
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong SQL Server skills
- Strong Power BI skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- IT or Science related education
You should also be able to drive and have no restrictions on working within the UK.
