Cisco Engineer Role

Location - Bournemouth

Rate - £325 - £350

Duration - 3 months initially

The IT Communications Team is looking for an experienced Unified Telephony person with strong skills in Cisco Call Manager (v9) to work with us on the upgrade to version 11, including all preparatory work getting the system ready in advance.

It will also include responding to day-to-day telephony incidents, providing support and knowledge transfer to the rest of the team.

Key skills required include:

* Cisco Call Manager 9+ knowledge (at least to CCNP/CCIE level)

* Detailed knowledge of SIP protocol and working with SIP telephony suppliers

* Experience of Cisco CUBE routers used to provide SIP call routing

* Experience of Cisco IP handsets (79xx, 78xx, 88xx, 89xx)

* Experience of a Cisco Call Manager upgrade cycle.

* Experience of attached, third-party telephony services that work with Cisco Call Manager. (E.g. Enghouse ARC, Processflows CXE Voicemail, Tiger 2020 call reporting)

* Experience of networking would be a distinct advantage to aid telephony troubleshooting
