A leading financial provider is looking for a junior to Mid-level Java developer to join their organisation. They are looking for someone whom has had a strong background in Java development and is hungry to grow in the engineering space, within their organisation.

Experience working in a financial institution is preferred by not required!

Day to day responsibilities:

* Collaboratively working with business analyst and technical architects to meet design requirements set out by the business

* Speaking directly with clients to understand needs and expectations

* Assist the administration of technical infrastructure as well as helping in the deployment

* Developing an efficient application to be used by various clients

Essential Skills:

* Experience with Java and J2EE architecture, in the development process from designing, coding to Implementation

* Experience with Web Applications and technologies such as DHTML

* Strong knowledge of Spring and Hibernate frameworks

* Hands on experience with UML as well as Ajax frameworks

Good to have skills:

* Knowledge of automated tools

* Experience with performance tuning and profiling

* Design experience in UML
