Infrastructure Engineer

One of our Warwickshire based clients is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their expanding team. You will provide 3rd line support to the organisations IT Infrastructure, and delivering IT projects.

This opportunity would be suited to a candidate who has proven experience working within an infrastructure team, who has delivered complex infrastructure projects on premise and AWS.

Infrastructure Engineer duties will include, but not limited to:

*Maintenance and monitoring of infrastructure assets on premise, AWS and O365

*Implement hardware and software upgrades for business applications, server hardware, network equipment, desktop and laptop

*Deliver technical solutions, on both smaller and larger projects

*Implement bespoke solutions, ensuring that projects are delivered correctly and within time constraints

*Improve and maintain the existing infrastructure

*Configuration of new builds for desktop team

As the Infrastructure Engineer, you will be required to possess knowledge of the following technologies:

*Server 2012 / 2016

*VMware, ESX Servers

*AWS

*Active Directory and Group Policy Management

*Exchange, Office 365

*SAN Storage and back up technologies

*Windows Deployment Service

*Symantec / Altiris exposure would be beneficial

*ITIL Service Management tool - ITSM / ServiceNow
