Position: Business Analyst

Location: Dublin

Salary: EUR350 - EUR400 per day per day depending on experience

Contract Type: 6 Months Initially

Start Date: Up to 1 Months Notice Period Accommodated

BUSINESS ANALYST

Our client a global technology giant is looking for an experienced Business Analyst with Credit / Debit Cards experience to join their team and support their end client within the Financial Services Industry based in Dublin

The Business Analyst will interact with business owners, product teams, product vendors, other applications owners, external customers and internal customers to identify requirements and deliver those within stipulated timelines

Support the PSD2 Contactless Project Manager to provide the following:

* Chip/card knowledge required, preferably Visa

* First Data system knowledge, especially chip/card/host knowledge

* Work with UL to agree requirements, and to support/review Visa Personalisation Assistant (VPA) document

* Support PM in achieving business sign off and complete requirements and design phase

* Inform detailed requirements, and review resulting Solutions Document from First Data for their PSD2 driven hosted capability

* Review customer journey scenarios for card/host-based solutions

* Assess options to remediate, where possible, those cards already in issuance. Define and support the implementation of those options where possible.

* Technical liaison between First Data, Gemalto, Visa and UL

* Support Test Manager to inform test strategy, test scenarios and planning.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in a similar role

* Credit / Debit Cards experience

* Good understanding of the global Payments Landscape

* Good understanding of the banking domain, applicable Payments regulatory environment (PSDII, SEPA Rule Book Changes etc.)

* Expertise and knowledge of Open Banking and other paymemts regulations in Europe and UK

* Good communication skills with ability to lead domain discussions with customers

* Engineering + MBA degree is preferred
