Lead Project Quality Engineer - Quality auditor training & qualification, Oil & Gas-Subsea experience.

We are looking for a Lead Project Quality Engineer to join our team of consultants at Experis. Working on-site with one of our clients you will be responsible for Quality activities on all project matters within their respective Centre of Excellence and have an operational reporting line to the Project Manager/Project Quality Manager

Responsibilities:

*

* Project Start Up: -

* Contract Familiarisation-Performs full reviews of low to medium complexity contracts

* Project Risk Management-Attends planned risk review meetings and identifies risks, mitigation factors and opportunities from the contract

* Project Quality Planning-Creates quality plans based on the standard template incorporating additional customer quality and technical regulation and product certification requirements. Participates in Design Verification Reviews with CA as required by engineering. Agrees upfront with customer the Dispatch Dossier requirements for the project

* Equipment Criticality Risk Assessment (CRA)-Supports and facilitates 1st and 2nd stage cross functional CRA reviews for the assignment of equipment criticality ratings covering the scope of the contract,

* Inspection & Test Plan-Supports standardisation and promotes the use of GE standard ITP templates

* ITO/OTR Handover-Support ITO/OTR handover process as appropriate.

* Stakeholder Management: -

* Prepare and present quality performance reporting to internal leadership and customers

* Summarises and inputs quality performance data / metrics in to customer monthly project reports

* Ensure effective and consistent application of Quality processes across the organisation in support of project execution

* Track & report Cost of Quality

* Project Execution; -

* Utilisation of CRA ratings identify requirements for PPM and communicate to sourcing

* Validate Notification of Inspections acting as interface between client, vendor and IMT as required, manage inspection cost to agreed budget and identification of opportunities to reduce inspection costs working with Sourcing, IMT & SPL teams

* Collaborate with Engineering to Review supplier documentation requirements and SQR's are captured

* Supports standardisation and promotes the use of GE standard vendor ITP & MRB templates and gain appropriate client approvals

* Supports non-conformance management process, Reviews NCR in a project context to assess if customer concession, deviation or waiver is required. Completes, submits and manages approval process for concessions, deviations or waivers to customer in compliance with contract and QMS requirements

* Prepares project specific internal audit schedule covering the project scope of supply if contractual. Performs audits to the schedule to verify compliance to the contract.

* Participates in Project Tollgate reviews and Expedites Quality deliverables to closure

* Leads/Participates in RCA, NCA, CIR analysis, 6 sigma projects aimed at reducing cost of quality and improving on time delivery and customer satisfaction

* Support projects lessons learned efforts to ensure project learning communicated across the business.

* Project Completion/Close Out

* Co-ordinates and contributes to the completion of equipment MCDs with customer in attendance (if applicable to single product line projects. Agrees punch list items and categories (if applicable), Expedites and verifies Punch Item closure

* Supports final inspection and release of equipment including the MCD process as applicable, Co-ordinates with customer and GE functions in the release process

* Participate in project close out activities by facilitating closure of all project quality actions.

* Initiate customer feedback process using T-NPS methodology

Requirements:

* Appropriate level qualification in Science, Engineering or Quality Management, or equivalent experience

* Quality auditor training & qualification

* You must have unrestricted authorisation to work in Country of posting

Desired Characteristics:

* Substantial experience in a Project Quality environment

* Experience in a client facing, project environment (Customer management experience record)

* Quality audit training & experience

* Continuous improvement driver / change agent

* Strong organisational & communication skills

* Fully computer literate (MS Word/Excel/Outlook)

* Ability to travel where required

* General project process knowledge
