SITE MANAGER - ENGINEERING/MACHINING

£50,000 to £55,000

A world leading security and technology service provider who have invested billions of pounds in their services working with the most high profile clients on the most cutting edge projects. This role is available as the company is expanding.
You will be working at a site which conducts physical analysis, chemical analysis and machining of weapons and ordnance. Acting as the bridge between the site management and hands-on activities as well as aligning the implementation of upgrade projects and programmes at the site.
The Job:
Your role will include insuring safe operation of facilities making sure all facilities have suitable and sufficient safe systems of work (Risk Assessment, Instruction & Training) to cover activities.
You will be ensuring proper governance, working to and abide by our legal obligations and Operating Framework policies and procedures.
Ensuring the efficient operation of facilities with all buildings, plant and equipment available on demand in line with planned work programmes.
Supporting the site team by participating in Safety Sub Board and other key meetings, audits, inspections, investigations will be a key part of your role
As the Site Manager you will support maintenance activities with scheduling and ensuring contractors and visitors abide by our Operating Framework, policies and procedures
You will be acting as Site Security Lead working with Project Managers and other staff to ensure we fulfil our security obligations.
The Fit.
You will must have experience in a similar site/facilities management position - around 5 years+ as a guide
You must have previously worked in a highly regulated industry such as defence, scientific, construction, chemical, oil & gas etc
Any experience with continuous improvement methodologies would be beneficial such as 5S or LEAN
