Information Management Support Engineer (VN19 03)

Your role at EUMETSAT
We are looking for an Information Management Support Engineer to join our Software Delivery Team and manage our user interface supporting current and future IT systems. Key to this role is having a solid understanding of how users interact with systems, with an ability to anticipate user needs, facilitate training, and deliver solutions which provides a more accessible service to our users. You will support all aspects of our user interface from designing training, on-line help pages, customer acceptance testing and implementing document management systems
With proven experience in user interaction design, you will have an ability to identify the support mechanisms that our users will require to get the most out of our systems. You will be solution orientated, with a flair for using initiative and creativity to identify concepts that make our IT more accessible to all. You will be working with complex documentation and information management systems, so we expect you to have strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as being organised. This is a customer focused role, so you will need to be a team player, with the ability to facilitate changes which benefit our users. You must be self-motivated with the ability to work on your own when necessary.
