Lead Java Developer (Multi-threading Concurrency Java 8). Are you a talented Java Developer looking to remain hands-on and progress your career to a Lead Java Developer position whilst working with the latest technologies? You'll based in open plan City based offices with a range of facilities; there's a good work / life balance including flexible working hours and the option to work from home for part of the week.

As a Lead Java Developer you will be responsible for a small team on a Greenfield project to create an entirely new trading exchange; the codebase is less than 18 months old, there's lots of new development and improvements to made. Working across the full development lifecycle from stakeholder liaison through to delivery you will make the technical decisions, set the standards and drive quality.

Requirements:

*Advanced core Java including multi-threading and concurrency

*Strong experience with real-time, low-latency, high-throughput, distributed and scalable systems

*Team / technical leadership experience

*Advocate of Agile methodologies with a good knowledge of Scrum, TDD, CI/CD

*Strong problem solving skills

*Experience with any of the following in the tech stack: Spring, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Oracle

*Excellent communication skills
