Project Manager (Business Change / Transformation)

We are actively looking to secure a Project Manager to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

Purpose of Role:

This role will be focussing on the mobilisation of projects and key pieces of work.

Our client is looking for someone with strong stakeholder management skills with experience and knowledge of Business Change and Transformation projects.

Experience working on Mobile, Hosted Voice or Public Sector Managed Services Projects would be great to have.

Key Responsibilities:

* Demonstrable experience and capability to manage projects autonomously. Thorough understanding of concepts, procedures and application of project management and a good knowledge in other subjects or disciplines, which are relevant to the content of the project (e.g. Six Sigma and network management processes).

* Evaluate, sometimes complex situations using multiple sources of information.

* Projects may involve a higher element of risk to business and require ability to use recognised project management methods and processes, depending on risk profile and governance needs.

* You will be recognised as a key supplier in delivery of a client or internal business benefit.

* Must have proven ability to apply relationship management skills and to be able to build and own client and stakeholder relationships at senior levels.

* Act as lead change agent with ability to channel resources effectively internally developing better delivery practice or ability to identify the change impact on the organisation, identify stakeholders and manage relationships, risk and engagement to deliver the project's outcomes successfully.

Skills/Experience:

* Will have had 5-7 years' experience of leading projects

* Experience mobilising key projects and new pieces of work

* You will be Business Change/Transformation Project Manager rather than a heavily technical Project Manager

* Experience working with challenging stakeholders

* Experience of Mobile / Hosted Voice / Managed Services projects would be great to have

* Public Sector experience would be beneficial

* Experienced user of, and/or accredited in, a formal Project Management methodology such as Prince2, APMP, ITIL qualification, Risk Management Qualification or Six Sigma.
