This growing company is seeking a strong software Product Owner / Senior Business Analyst with physical commodities knowledge to work with their Agile delivery structure in order to deliver a market disrupting and innovative platform. The successful Product Owner / Senior Business Analyst will include:
Providing vision to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements. Participating in the discovery process/workshops in new markets.Researching and analysing the market, users, and the roadmap for the goods.Analysing how the platform can provide most value to participants.Following competitors and the industry.User requirement gathering, testing and training.Defining the goods vision, road-map and growth opportunities. Creating Agile development epics and stories.Introducing the platform and benefits to new customers.Keeping abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends. The successful Product Owner / Senior Business Analyst will have the following skills and experience:
Solid knowledge of the full physical commodities trading lifecycle from either an operational perspective (settlements/trade finance/contract) or from IT (ETRM / CTRM).Previous working experience as a Product Owner or as Senior Business Analyst looking to move into this function.Educated to degree level or equivalent.In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles.Outstanding communication, presentation and organisational skills.Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.Creative thinker with a vision and attention to detail. In return, the Product Owner/ Business Analyst will receive a salary of up to £80,000 per annum according to experience plus, benefits allowance, pension, bonus scheme, 25 days holiday, great working environment.
