This is an opportunity to join one of the UK's leading IT refurbishment companies helping hundreds of businesses, Schools and public sector organisation across the UK save money on their IT hardware. As a Microsoft Licensed Refurbisher, they do this by providing high quality refurbished IT equipment fully supported with up to 5 year warranties

They are a young, innovative, fast growing company looking to continue expanding their public and private sector client base. Their aim in 2019 is to increase their volume of refurbished equipment from 9,000 units per year to 15,000 fully refurbished and guaranteed units supplied to their customers.

To do this they are looking for an exceptional IT technician to join their team who's passionate about getting hands on with IT hardware

Key Responsibilities:

- Testing Desktops, laptop and monitors which includes visual inspections, functionality testing and stress testing.

- Problem solving equipment which has problems

- Quality grading desktops, laptops and monitors against their pre-defined quality standards

- Testing components including SSDs, hard drives and RAM

- Updating and mounting Windows images to their systems

- Building system to specification for customer orders

- Final checks and packaging of orders

- Is able to travel to their facility outside Linlithgow

To succeed in this job you will need to have intermediate computing skills and a good understanding of computer technology. Experience in an IT or warehousing environment is essential.
