We are currently working with a large service provider based in Cape Town, South Africa. My client focus in providing Cloud and infrastructure services to customers across the UK, US and South Africa and are one of the largest and most well recognised partners within the market.

With a huge drive in using new technologies to benefit business solutions and efficiency you will gain a huge amount of experience in brand new emerging technologies which are un paralleled within the Infrastructure space.

Key focuses are within the Virtualization space and you will work with VMware and Citrix as the main virtualization technologies. Having Azure experience from both administration and engineering perspectives will also help massively.

Alongside virtualization you will work on the support and engineering of different Windows based operating systems from 2008 onwards and also with Wintel servers.

The role will be based within a support environment but will also be extremely hands on in terms of technical infrastructure engineering. You will work on tier 3 escalations within the server space assisting clients in the UK and South African market on any issues they have. As a senior employee you will also help to mentor and train junior members of staff.

My client help to train within and one of their passions is to ensure that anybody who joins them, receives the right training, technology exposure and upskilling that they require to progress their careers going forward.

Technical requirements:

* Experience within a 3rd level support role

* Full Microsoft suite exposure with Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365 and Azure

* VMware and Hyper-V exposure

* Wintel exposure of over 4 years is beneficial

* Strong interpersonal skills

* Support experience 7 years+

* Virtualization exposure with Citrix, VMware, Hyper-V or XEN.

* Senior engineering experience (3 years+)
