Software Tester - Edinburgh

I am looking to speak with any enthusiastic software tester who is looking for their chance to join a company that will help them develop their skills and progress their career. My client is currently in the process of developing a new product on windows desktop and web applications and are looking for a software tester who will be the sole tester in the team.

The role

Your role will be crucial to the outcome of the product and will therefore require a methodical approach to your work. You will work with all areas of the company in order to get a complete understanding of the new product so that you can appropriately test at each stage the functionality and usability.

Responsibilities

* Document reviewing and creation

* Creation of test plans

* Regression testing

* Writing .net code and UI tests

Experience

* Some commercial experience working in a similar role

* Knowledge of C#/ASP

* Strong attention to detail and an analytical mind

* Beneficial - Selenium
