Senior Quantity Surveyor

West London | Quantity Surveyor | Developer

I am looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to work for a firmly established and leading developer who have an excellent track record with constructing vibrant communities.

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be joining an experienced and diverse commercial team who will be providing commercial support on a flagship mixed use scheme in West London. This project is comprised of over 1000 residential units (a mixture of townhouses and apartments) and circa 20,000 square meters of commercial and retail floorspace.

This developer is consistently winning large scale and exciting schemes and has a growing presence in the South; therefore, the successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will have the opportunity to move onto another local scheme following the completion of this project with plenty of opportunity to progress quickly into a Commercial Manager role.

Requirements for this Senior Quantity Surveyor position:

* Must have at least 6+ years UK experience working as a QS

* Experience working on large scale new build projects with exposure to JCT form of contract.

* Ideally have a BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or a relevant degree

* Previous experience working for a residential developer or residential main contractor

* Have experience delivering projects across the residential sector with elements of RC frame, traditional build and timber frame housing

* Must have a proven track record with leading a commercial team and training junior staff

* Good organisational skills

Remuneration for this Senior Quantity Surveyor position:

* £60,000 - £70,000 per annum (depending on experience)

* Car allowance
