Technical Solutions Consultant, Customer Software Support Manager

A Technical Solutions Consultant is currently needed to work in a rapidly expanding client, in Cardiff. The previous incumbent has been promoted and therefore the Technical Solutions Consultant role has become available as a backfill for that person - this also demonstrates the great career paths that my client can offer the right candidates.

The Technical Solutions Consultant will be working with up to date technologies, (mostly within the .NET and Microsoft Technologies, but also including some PHP and open source stacks) to help maximise the technical and functional use of their employers software for customers. The Technical Solutions Consultant will act as a link between the customers and the tech teams within the company providing an important service for their assigned client base from the beginning to the end of the project. Think a hybrid role of pre-sales, business analysis, solution design, service delivery and account management, as well as product management.

Skills the Technical Solutions Consultant may have:

Experience supporting software, applications or service models

Experience working within medium or large scale systems implementations or an enterprise understanding

Experience using REST / SOAP APIs

A programming background / knowledge - any language

Experience providing customer support or just the ability to demonstrate great customer service in their career to date

Skills The Technical Solutions Consultant may also have:

Financial Services or Fintech experience

Knowledge of identity management, Compliance systems, Data hygiene

Experience with MS SQL / MySQL or other Databases

This role will be based in Cardiff and is very accessible from all of South Wales including Swansea, Barry, Newport, Neath, Port Talbot, Bridgend. It could even be done from places like, Bristol, Bath, Gloucester and those on the M4 corridor. Working arrangements can be made to fit around traffic and your commute.
