Are you a Software Engineer looking for a new role? My client is looking for a PHP Developer / Software Engineer to work within their fast growing, global client. Working in a gorgeous Cardiff location, the role as a PHP Developer will involve working on multiple different products, with new features to continuously improve and maintain our client's already successful business.

Our client is seeking a Software Engineer with a strong PHP background to join their Cardiff based development teams. You'd be joining a collaborative, forward thinking, agile team. The team support multiple challenging and exciting products, which have a set of features that provide real opportunities for the team to contribute to the success of the organisation.

Main Responsibilities of PHP Developer / Software Engineer:

To provide all round solution design, development and diagnostic services using modern PHP frameworks and technologies for their web applications, web service solutions and batch processing services

To provide technical leadership to our cross-functional agile product development teams

Work closely with product and project management to deliver timely products and enhancements

The PHP Developer/ Software Engineer must have:

Experience with PHP, with a strong understanding of modern PHP frameworks

Experience with relational databases such as MySQL

Good understanding of Agile methodologies such as Kanban and Scrum

Good understanding of SOA and API concepts

Good understanding of modern development Build, Test and Deployment pipelines
