We are seeking highly talented and technical Cloud / DevOps Engineers to join our client, one of London's fastest growing technology companies. The role of Cloud / DevOps Engineer is a challenging one but also a rewarding one - offering the chance to work in a world class engineering team, working to expand and scale new features of an innovative and award-winning cloud software platform. Further to this, the successful Cloud / DevOps Engineer will be working on a modern and expansive technology stack that includes Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Golang, Ansible and more.

Based in West London in a brand new office the Cloud /DevOps Engineer will be joining a growing team of talented software engineers, scientists and visionaries who are on a mission to create life-changing software. We are specifically seeking a Cloud / DevOps Engineer to help champion site reliability covering engineering, automation and software development & scalability.

Key Responsibilities include:

Champion SRE and devops practices and assist with overall site reliability to provide an environment in which the software engineering team can thrive!

Troubleshoot, test, and maintain high-performance and scalable microservices

Ensure scalability using tools like automation help to evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability & velocity.

Help to introduce good practice and processes for continuous improvement

Help own the processes and automation infrastructure which ensures high quality, continuous releases of reliable infrastructure.

The successful Platform / DevOps Engineer will ideally have:

Experience in relevant role i.e. SRE, DevOps, Platform or Cloud  Engineer

Software engineering experience with either Python, C, C++, Java, or Golang

Knowledge of High Availability systems

Experience with distributed systems

Experience with Kubernetes, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Ansible, Docker

Committed to delivering high quality sofstware.
