Senior .NET Developer, C#, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server, JavaScript, AWS

We currently have a fantastic contract opportunity for Senior .NET Developer to join our client based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. The Senior .NET Developer / Software Engineer will be operating as a member of a team responsible for mixture of maintenance, refactoring and building out new features using latest technologies such as .NET Core. Senior .NET Developer will play an important role engaging with internal stakeholders, customers and implementation teams with a view to solving business and technical problems in an Agile, Hybrid Cloud environment.

This is a challenging role in which we are also seeking Senior .NET Developers / Senior Software Engineers who can bring new skills to the team and ideally help to assist with site reliability and devops including automation and scalability. The Senior ASP.NET Developer will be working with the following technologies:

C#

NET MVC

JavaScript ( jQuery, vanilla, Angular)

MS SQL

Aurora (MySQL)

Redis

Web API

TFS

Razor

Entity Framework

Dapper

NET

Kanban/Scrum

The following are also desired:

Cloud Infrastructure - ideally with AWS (Including Lambda)

DevOps experience / in a Devops environment

Experience with automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible

Containerisation with Docker, Kubernetes.

This will initially be a 3-6 month contract however this could be extended far beyond this depending on how you perform. There is an abundance of free parking, lunch is provided free of charge on a daily basis and the working environment is very friendly and collaborative.
