We are seeking a talented Application Support Developer to join our rapidly growing client based in Woking. Our client are an industry leading developer and supplier of CRM software and digital tools, their product is a highly innovative web application that empowers businesses by enhancing customer experience. It's a product that has taken well to the global market and as a result, the company is growing! They are now looking for a motivated Application Support Developer to support the business as they deliver these innovative product to a range of major FTSE 100 clients.

As the Application Support Developer you will have the opportunity to gain valuable exposure to modern technologies including the .Net framework, C# and SQL. The Application Support Developer will need to be technically minded, innovative and able to come up with creative solutions to complex problems. The Application Support Developer will be responsible for providing ongoing support and interacting with key clients, therefore excellent communication skills are vital to be successful in this position.

The successful Application Support Developer responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Providing 1^st, 2nd and 3^rd line technical support queries professionally and efficiently, maintaining a high degree of customer service

Ensure that all SLA's and escalation points are met

Take ownership of user problems, perform a technical diagnosis and fix the issue either remotely or on-site

To maintain user security on all systems

Supporting users in the use of Computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice

To arrange for external support visit whenever problems cannot be resolved in house

Train users in our software via remote methods, or face to face

Install and configure our products according to the client requirements and as per project plans

The following skills are essential to be successful:

Application support experience (preferably web-based software/applications)

Basic experience with .Net / C# Technologies (MSSQL to read write via stored procedures/TSQL, ability to debug/investigate .Net code solutions, ability to write clean code)

Experience with Microsoft MS SQL technologies (writing SQL Queries, stored procedures/functions, ability to debug and investigate SQL code solutions)

Experience with Web Design/Scripting languages (including HTML, CSS, Angular and JQuery)

The following would be highly advantageous:

Knowledge of Microsoft SQL (SQL scripts, and Stored Procedures and Databases) or another database system

Preferable to have knowledge Visual Basic or C# (capable of understanding code and identifying issues) or another programming language

Preferable have knowledge of IIS (configuration, sites, application pools, permissions)

Preferable to have knowledge of Windows Server and setup

This unique opportunity is in a highly accessible location, only a short walk from the Woking train station. It's commutable from London, Wokingham, Reading, Maidenhead, Slough, Windsor, Bracknell Guildford, Camberley, Farnborough, Basingstoke, Hounslow, Aldershot, Leatherhead, Horsham, Crawley, Portsmouth, Surbiton and many more!

Some travel to client sites will be required in this role so it is important for candidates to have a valid UK driving licence and vehicle access.
