Software Support Analyst, Application Support, SQL, 2^nd Line

Our client, a technology company who provide tools and platforms that are used within schools and the education sector are seeking a Software Support Analyst / Application Support Engineer to join their close knit team. The Software Support Analyst / Application Support Engineer will examine and solve customer system issues, and work closely with the development team for enhancements and further fixes. The Software Support Analyst / Application Support Engineer will also provide 1^st and 2^nd line support to customers over email and the phone.

Skills and experience the Software Support Analyst / Application Support Engineer will bring:

Technically strong with experience supporting a software application for external customers

Knowledge of hosting applications on third party environments (e.g. AWS, Azure etc.)

Strong technical skills around SQL, Web Services and API's

Software Support Analyst / Application Support Engineer is not a developer role; more configuration, scripting, integration & implementation, but you will need solid technical skills.

This Software Support Analyst / Application Support Engineer position is ideally for a customer focused individual, who enjoys problem solving with a hands on approach to helping the customer and their team.

This position is based in Witney and highly commutable from: Oxford, Bicester, Swindon, Banbury, Abingdon, Kidlington, Aylesbury, Cheltenham etc.
