Our Oxford based client currently have multiple Software Engineer vacancies available and are keen to speak candidates who are passionate about technology. The ideal Software Engineer will have some good commercial experience as a Graduate or perhaps Junior Software Engineer and is looking to step up into a technically expansive role involving end-to-end web development, testing and work with cloud platforms. Working a cutting-edge platform, the successful Software Engineer will help to create production-ready code, working on digital tools that are really making a difference in the fields of information solutions, research and publishing.
Although the company are small, they are growing rapidly and have an excellent reputation within the Oxfordshire tech community. As the company continue to expand, new opportunities will open up for the Software Engineer and he/she will gain further responsibilities, eventually being directly involved in the roadmap of the product.
Skills and Experience desired for this Software Engineer role:
Able to write understandable, fully tested code with: a couple of languages; C#, C++, Java, Python, Ruby, Golang
Source control with Git
Experience working within Agile development processes
Working within a CI/CD focused environment
Experience of working with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
The Software Engineer will have the change to mentor senior developers and gain quality knowledge of, and exposure to, a very modern technology stack, based on the Google model.
