Mechanical Design Engineer (Conveyor Systems)

£42,000 - £45,000 + Progression + Pension + 33 Days Holiday + Excellent Benefits

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer ideally with experience in design of conveyor systems looking to join an industry leading company and innovative company who supply a number of international blue chip clients?

On offer is an autonomous role where you will lead design projects for an already highly skilled team and will become an expert in the industry.

Working with a massive range of blue-chip clients, the company specialise in the manufacture and design of automated equipment and are well known for their high standards of service and product. This is an exciting opportunity for a Design Engineer to lead a highly skilled team.

This is a diverse role working on a range of innovative designs ideally from a background in the design of conveyor systems, materials handling projects or automation equipment.

The Role:

- Lead design and development capability of new automation, conveyor systems and materials handling projects as well as liaising with customers, suppliers and sub-contractors

- Leads design discussions and design reviews

- Failure analysis including root cause analysis

The Person:

- Design and development experience - Conveyor design highly desirable

- You will ideally have experience in 3D design using SolidWorks - Other CAD packages will be considered

- Looking to play an integral role within a UK leading company
