We have an exciting new opportunity for a technical and hands-on Assistant IT Manager to join an established B2B and B2C eCommerce business at their office near Newton Stewart. In the role, the Assistant IT Manager will be responsible for supporting business systems for an office of up to 100 people, as well as providing remote support to their other UK sites as needed. The Assistant IT Manager will report into the IT Manager and have the opportunity to contribute to IT strategy and bring in fresh ideas and new approaches to the table to ensure the continued improvement and streamlining of IT services.

Key Skills required for the Assistant IT Manager:

* Experience of supporting Windows Server, including AD.

* Networking experience.

* Good knowledge of Windows 7 & 10.

* Experience with SQL Server is advantageous.

* Experience with virtualisation technologies, such as Hyper-V or VMware, is also beneficial.

* Full UK driving license.

Salary: up to £40,000 + benefits

Location: Newton Stewart, Dumfries and Galloway
