Key relationships Divisional Director of Operations, Head of Division, Divisional Nurse Director, Director of Patient Safety and Experience, Other Operational Managers and Matrons, Head of Department and Clinical Leads, Ward Managers.

My client in North West is need of an Operational Business Manager to join their team on an initial 6 month contract.

This a great opportunity to join an organisation who are people focused.

As the Operational Business Manager Your day to day duties will be, to be a key part of the leadership team of the specialty alongside the clinical lead and matron.

To co-ordinate the on-going work of the speciality area using strategic, business and operational skills to ensure the service meets the required performance standards.

The Operational Business Manager will be required to provide business and managerial support to the Clinical Leads and Matrons in order that the activity, quality, safety and financial objectives of the services are successfully delivered. In particular the leading and managing a range of projects, the post holder will ensure that a standard project management approach is built into all aspects of the programme.

Taking a lead on data analysis within the team, reviewing complex data, communicating data issues and accurately analysing and interpreting information to inform all aspects of work. Engaging with Clinical Teams in the design of patient pathways whilst taking account of the impact of new technologies and new working environments.

Motivate staff to encourage collaborative working in the design of new roles and new ways of working and provide support to staff during the change process to overcome resistance to change.

To initiate and nurture innovation of new ideas across the organisation and support project and programme teams to achieve their objectives.
