Information security officer - 38k - Chester
The role:
* Responsible for assisting the ongoing activities to protect data held by the company.
* The role will involve daily checks of the Active Directory, Office 365 and Web Proxy systems; identifying, investigating and logging potential security issues.
* The ISA will be required to engage with a variety of personnel across the Business, including IT development and infrastructure, business process owners and the Data Protection Officer.
Requirements:
* You will need to have excellent communication, literacy and adaptability skills.
* An understanding of the operation of a retailer is required, together with knowledge of typical IT and Information landscapes.
* You will have knowledge of Information Security trends, common vulnerabilities and their mitigation.
* You must be passionate about finding the right Information Security measures whether these are clever high-tech measures, or simple common-sense measures.
* A flexible attitude and being used to a fast paced and dynamic environment is required.
