Senior Android Developer. My client is looking for an Android developer with Kotlin experience to join a small and talented Mobile team, giving you an opportunity to input into design decisions and have a real impact on how the product is developed. Due to the nature of the project you'll be exposed to all aspects of the software development cycle, from defining the architecture, defining user stories, writing proof of concept apps, validation of UI/UX with prototypes and user testing, traditional development and the deployment of the project into production.

Android Expertise needed

3 - 5+ years of software development experience, 3 years Android.

Have worked in an Agile environment.

Understanding of design patterns and material design.

A portfolio or examples of apps published to the Google Play store or GitHub

Attention to detail and subtleties of UI design and implementation.

Strong application process flow and problem solving techniques.

Experience with Kotlin, RxJava and MVP pattern

Advantageous skills not essential

Deploying to enterprises using EMM / MDM an advantage

Testing using Robolectric & Mockito an advantage

Android TV a plus

What will you be doing in this Android role

Build efficient, maintainable code based on requirements, wireframes, and high-fidelity comps.

Write unit tests and integration tests for all components.

Contribute to internal knowledge sharing repositories.

Collaborate with the cross-functional development team to define, design, and ship new features.

Participate in Agile ceremonies.
