One of the UK's fastest growing media agencies is looking to continue its impressive growth after doubling in size last year! As a result, the business requires additional and instrumental technical support from a hands-on IT Manager to facilitate and encourage future expansion, both in the UK and globally! Reporting into the CTO, the newly appointed IT Manager will be responsible for providing first-hand technical support across networking & infrastructure for the whole business as well as being responsible for ensuring IT grows with the business, and in some instances actively encourages positive change and expansion. The successful IT Manager will need to demonstrate a proactive mindset and be able to show that you can plan ahead and develop IT planning, process, and strategy.

Due to the size of the business, the IT Manager will need to demonstrate a wide technical skill-set, be able to pick up new tech quickly and be happy and willing to get stuck in as and when required.

Skills and experience required;

* Currently in a technical hands-on role with the ambition to move into a lead/management role OR currently operating as a hands-on IT Manager

* Experienced in a variety of technical disciplines of IT support - infrastructure, networking, security, desktop support….

* Be able to demonstrate both a reactive and proactive attitude to IT

* Show experience and/or understanding of how to grow and develop the IT landscape/environment - including process and policy

* Ideally, have experience of working in an agency or smaller business (tech startup for example or similar)

* Be able to show an autonomous work ethic

* Degree educated or higher in a technical/IT discipline would be beneficial
