OBIEE Developer
Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) developer needed to strategically design and implement BI software and systems, including integration with databases and data warehouses with a consultancy. This includes working with the business to define requirements and deliver BI solutions to users.
Role: OBIEE Developer
Duration: 6 months daily rate contract
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Rate: 400e to 420e (350 to 365 pounds)
Remote: Potential for the role to be done remotely in the future
X-Factor: Secure a role with a company that typically uses contractors for a long period so could be a steady for extensions.
Day to day:
* Direct, shape, and lead projects in the implementation and use of OBIEE
* Plan, code, test, and document BI systems, applications, and programs.
* Assist in the design of DBs and DWHs to ensure interoperability with BI systems.
* Analyse user requirements and, based on findings, design functional specifications for BI front-end applications.
* Create and implement ETL design guidelines to ensure a stable and usable ETL infrastructure for the BI system.
* Setup OB Intelligence Users and Security
* Define, Implement, and Setup of, Physical, Logical (business), and Presentation objects in OBI
* Knowledge of dimensional modeling design and principles
* Work with project managers to ensure that data meet business requirements for project completion.
* Design and deliver end-user training and training materials; provide technical support when needed.
* Troubleshoot BI tools, systems, and software; optimise these applications as necessary.
* Mentor and train junior members of the team.
Skills/Experience: 4 years+ experience delivering solutions, working with:
* OBIEE
* Datawarehouse analysis and design on methodologies and modeling
* Experience with RDBMS such as Oracle, SQL server
* References to show your strong soft skills
Desirable Experience:
* Oracle certification
* Experience with ETL
NOTE: You must be an EU resident or have a valid STAMP 4 for visa to qualify for this OBIEE developer role in Dublin. Given the tight internal business deadline on this project, and the timescales involved in processing work card/permit applications, regrettably we will not be offering work permit sponsorship for this OBIEE developer role.
