Java Developer / Senior Software Engineer (eFX OTC Trading Java NIO). Are you a highly intelligent Java Developer looking for a role where you will be challenged and can work collaboratively with some of the world's brightest minds to solve some of the most complex and interesting problems in financial trading technology?

As a Java Developer / Senior Software Engineer you will join a small team responsible for an OTC eFX trading system that offers liquidity in five asset classes with thousands of instruments and hundreds of thousands simultaneous quotes; it connects with over seventy market data and trading protocols and is built from scratch on top of Java NIO. You'll also support real-time GUIs and a pub-sub system that records and replays three billion events per day' a post-trade analytics system that enable the detailed analysis of hundreds of millions of trades in milliseconds; a performance metrics systems that records around fifty billion metrics per day and a cloud based client services platform to feedback real-time analytics to the client via the web.

You'll be working in an intellectually stimulating environment with a small team of technology and trade strategists in truly amazing offices with first class facilities and catering.

Requirements:

*You have an outstanding record of academic achievement; minimum 2.1 from a top tier university in a scientific, technical or numeric discipline

*You have an advanced knowledge of modern core Java and can design low level data structures and algorithms and have a deep understanding of how the JIT complies code

*Strong numeric / mathematics skills, able to design low level data structures and algorithms to fit particular performance characteristics

*You ensure all your code is well tested

As a Java Developer / Senior Software Engineer you will earn a highly competitive salary (to £150k, negotiable) plus significant bonus and benefits package.
