Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

My client, a global Fintech Company, are seeking an AWS DevSecOps engineer for their office based in Reading. You will be required to provide operational support, trouble shooting and maintenance of Security-related processes, controls or products. Independently analyse and resolve problems of medium to high complexity. Configure, test, document and implement new or upgrades to security processes, controls or products as directed. Participates in resolving situations involving improper attempts to access or infiltrate our networks. Recommends changes to area procedures and products. Implements with management review. Support reviewing or identifying and responding to security events and escalating to management. Consults with business peers to support and resolve data security events. Understands and has input to the budget process, and shares responsibility for cost-effective expense control of assigned projects. Participate in Security and enterprise projects as assigned. Act as a security representative at design and new technology meetings. Provides guidance to more junior employees.

Job Specific duties include:

* Automation of security monitoring, alerting, and remediation

* Security review and testing of AWS services as they are requested by the business

* Implementation and management of container security product and program

* Development of secure architecture patterns for serverless/containerised implementations of applications

* Security review and consultation for new SaaS products

* Regular security reviews and consultation on new AWS applications

Preferred;

* Experienced with AWS API integration and automation

* Experienced with building AWS Config rules and Lambda functions

* Experienced with developing with Python

* Understanding of enterprise identity and access management

* Understanding of using and securing container technologies (including Docker and Kubernetes)

* TCP/IP networking

* CI/CD including DevOps and DevSecOps

* Azure experience a plus

* Azure Active Directory and ADFS experience a plus

* Node/Go experience a plus
