Principal Electrical/Controls Engineer - Bristol

A leading systems integrator in the Bristol area who deliver innovative control and automation projects for customers across a range of industries are seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to join their successful and growing team.

This position will give you responsibility for completing industrial control systems projects right from liaising with customers to produce functional design specifications, through PLC programming, HMI development and SCADA configuration through to Factory Acceptance Testing and final commissioning.

The essential requirements for this position are:

- Experience in PLC programming, not just modification/fault-finding

- Full system lifecycle responsibility

- Customer-facing exposure

- Any SCADA or HMI knowledge would be highly beneficial
