Salary - £65000 - £100,000 + excellent benefits
My client is looking to add a number of Security Architects to their U.K team. You will be tasked with solving complex design and architectural challenges to create secure critical infrastructure systems and software projects across all industry sectors. Your engagements will be consulting-led, focused on understanding the customers' business, building trust and providing cyber security expertise across security architecture, product selection and detailed design.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate systems for inherent and systematic vulnerabilities, methods of exploitation, and potential impacts.
Defining and delivering security architectures in complex multi-technology environments.
Deliver cyber secure solutions for critical national infrastructures and sensitive government projects.
Work with a multi-disciplinary team to bid-for, win, and deploy cyber security projects.
Use risk management methodologies to manage the cyber-security risk
Skills and Exposure:
Extensive subject matter knowledge in one or many security technologies such as;
- identity management
- protective monitoring
- encryption
- cloud security
- network security
- application security
Understanding of architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, NIST Cyber Security Framework, ISF Standard, SABSA)
Security legislation and regulatory frameworks (e.g. DPA, PCI-DSS, GDPR, UK Gov Good Practice Guides)
Ability to articulate security advice and interact directly with a broad cross selection of personnel
UK National Technical Authority standards and guidance (design and accreditation)
Working in teams to deliver complex solutions
Developing innovative solutions to challenging environments
Due to the nature of the working environment an SC or DV Clearance would be considered a plus.
